As winter settles over Australia, CappingTV is lighting up the cold with LAN Downunder 2026. On July 18th and 19th, eight teams gather at the Fortress Arena in Melbourne to fight for the title of champion.
For the third year running, LAN Downunder returns to Fortress' flagship venue with a lineup that mixes returning grand finalists and players stepping onto a LAN stage for the first time — and marks ten years of CappingTV along the way. So rug up and settle in, whether that's from your couch or a seat in the arena.

LAN Downunder 2026 takes place July 18th and 19th, 2026 at Fortress Arena in Melbourne. The tournament opens at 11AM AEST on both Saturday and Sunday, running until 8PM AEST.
Doors open to spectators at 11:30 AM AEST on both days, with matches starting from 12:00 PM AEST.
Day 1 (Saturday) is a best-of-one round robin group stage with all eight teams. Day 2 (Sunday) sees the top four advance to best-of-three double-elimination playoffs, with the final two teams playing a best-of-five grand final.
The Unity ruleset is used throughout for Control Point maps. Round Robin CP matches run a 30-minute timer with a 5-minute overtime if tied — if still tied, the team holding mid wins. King-of-the-Hill maps are played as a Best-of-5.
Yes, attendees must be 18 years of age or older to participate in or attend LAN Downunder 2026.
No. Outside food and drink is not permitted at the venue. Food and beverages are available on site at Fortress Arena.
The full prize pool will be confirmed closer to the event. Fans can contribute via the official donation portal — donations go towards the prize pool and help cover event costs, and donors over $50 will receive some limited-run merch!
